Inner Mountain LADIES MTB Tour

Tour Date: 25-26 May 2013 (2 Day) & 9-11 Aug. 2013 (3 Day)

Three days of scenic mountain biking, yoga sessions and spa accommodation- combining challenge and reward from Wellington to Tulbagh and back.

This weekend is designed for you and your friends to break away on a physical and mental journey, exploring the mountains within and around you. Refresh and relax your body and mind as every days mountain biking is followed by rejuvenating spa and yoga experiences. The route takes you from Wellington to Tulbagh in the Western Cape, cycling distances from 40km – 70km per day (long and short route options available)

 

CapeTown 2 Knysna Road Cycle Tour

Tour Date: 23 – 28 June 2013

Whether you are planning on Taking it Easy or need some Base Training miles during the Winter season this Road Bike Tour is just for you! Join us on a fun ride and breath-taking cycling tour, where we explore some of the most beautiful parts of South Africa.  From the Winelands leaving from Boschendal Wine Estate cycling through Franschhoek, up to the Klein Karoo through Montagu and Ladismith, back down to the Evergreen Garden Route, to arrive in Knysna just in time for the Pick n Pay annual Oyster festival. Choose from two tour distances daily with full back up vehicle support to ensure your safety on route!

 

9 Day Namibian Desert Cycling Tour

Tour Date: 5 – 13 July 2013

The name “Namib” is of Nama origin and means “vast place” and occupies an area of around 80,900 km², it is considered to be the oldest desert in the world. Covering 4,976,800ha, the Namib Naukluft Park is the largest game reserve in Africa and the fourth largest in the world. A visit to the spectacular dunes of Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon, where the Tsauchab River has exposed millions of years of geological history, is a must visit for any visitors to Namibia.

A combination of vehicle and cycling is a unique way to combine the Namibian desert scenery and is a moderate cycle and will be adjusted according to fitness standards. A few highlighted routes per day will be cycled with a support vehicle behind the last cycler and a guide cycling amongst the group. Most of the cycling will be done on smooth gravel roads. All camps and lodges visited have swimming pool and bar facilities.

 

Tour de France Experience, Mont Ventoux, Alps, Paris 2013

Tour Date:  11 – 22 July 2013

On this tour you will follow the final week of the 2013 Tour de France Mont Ventoux, through the Alps and onto the finish in Paris. These are all the main high mountain stages of the 2013 Tour de France, which in the Alps includes the Grand Colombier, the summit finish at La Toussuire, and the Col du Granier.

In the Pyrenees you´ll see the stage to Foix, the massive stage the covers the Aubisque, Tourmalet, Aspin &Pyresourde and the final stage to the ski station of Peyragudes that includes the difficult Port de Bales. If this is not enough, you´ll see the Chartres Time Trial, followed by the final stage on the cobblestones of the Champs Elysees.

 

Coast 2 Karoo 5 Day MTB Tour

Tour Date: 18 – 22 Sept 2013

Departing from Knysna, exploring the picturesque Garden Route all the way to George. The adventure continues towards Eight Bells, situated on the foot of the Robinson Pass. From there we follow the mountain to Calitzdorp and make your way up to Oudsthoorn where you will overnight before the big race (Karoo2Coast) which starts in Uniondale and finishes in Knysna. Daily distances: 65km – 80km per day, finish it off with the 100km K2C race.
